Wheat Shock Equipment Sales, LLC was established in October, 2010 by Glen "Chip" Northern. Chip started the company to represent and market agriculture and industrial equipment for manufacturers of quality and innovative products.
Chip has been working in the agriculture and industrial equipment business for more than 25 years. During his high school years in Beloit, Kansas, he worked in a grain elevator and for local farmers. After high school, he spent 3 years working the harvest run from Texas to Montana. Moving to Salina in 1982, Chip worked as a route salesman for Brown Welding Supply. In 1986 he went to work for Price Brother's Equipment as a territory manager. After several years, Chip went to work for Hardi North America in 1993, and was employed for 17 years as a territory manager for Kansas, Nebraska, Eastern Colorado and Western Missouri.
